While not wanting to draw attention to myself (modesty, all that), I did note the impression of "intelligent design" in today's layout and the focus on local economic issues.
Which makes the curious treatment of the Wal-Mart film even more questionable.
Much better? Yes, but no free rides from me, yet. The editorial page makeover will be the most important aspect of the reform movement.
Ann and I suspect that your pal "Abb" might be a little disappointed with her pull-out quote, too.
No free rides, true. But just as we have encouraged John to reward risk-taking, there's no harm in acknowledging improvement.
